Childhood home turned next generation dream home

For many cases our projects come with interesting histories and stories but this one had an especially touching one.

Our client moved into this beautiful transition brick home nestled in the heart of the belt line when he was five. He grew up and moved away for college and then moved back in as a young adult. The client has since married and started a family of his own in the home.

We became especially excited for this project because of the space for potential in the kitchen. We were able to create an expansive and extremely functional island as the focal point using a beautiful quartz countertop to pop against dark grey cabinets as the base.

New hardwoods throughout the entire first floor helped create flow and constancy and stained in a wonderful natural finish to contrast against the white custom cabinets around the perimeter.

With the addition of a built-in fridge, a stylish apron sink and a bar in the adjacent corner this kitchen is a perfect mix of form and function to handle everything from day to day living to cocktail gathering and dinner parties.
