Meet Bryan Bowen, the Bo of BoCo Modern. Bryan was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He came into the world of design organically. He couldn’t help himself when something needed tweaking in a friend’s home. Function and design will always go hand in hand in Bryan’s world, no matter what it takes. Now for the last fifteen years, his attention to detail and spatial expertise has laid the ground work for his reputation for quality.
JOHN SIMMS
General Contractor + Production Manager
John is our resident general contractor and production manager, with a wealth of expertise accumulated over the last two decades. John was raised in Upstate New York and moved to North Carolina in 1997. He has been involved in the building industry since the age of 15. John and Bryan have merged their skills and formed a partnership to now provide clients comprehensive services as a residential design & build firm.

Client Experience Manager
Brenna is our office manager & design assistant. We brought her on as part of the driving force behind our high-quality client experience, to maximize execution of the projects’ vision. Brenna was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. She began designing as a child. She knew at a very early age the power our environment has over the way we feel. Her background in assisting company owners & interior design makes her an incredible asset.
